Who We Are
Surreal Elysium LLC ("Surreal Elysium," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent contemporary streetwear label organised in Ohio, United States. We operate this website and sell apparel and related goods directly to customers.
We are the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to personal information we collect through our website, our online store, our email and text message programmes, our social media pages, and any other channel where we link to this policy.
We currently ship to the United States only. US customers are our intended audience, and this policy is written for them. If you are visiting from elsewhere, see Section XVIII.
This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties we do not own or control, including payment processors, production and shipping partners, and social media platforms. Those parties operate under their own privacy policies.

Sensitive Information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information as defined under California law, or "sensitive data under comparable laws — including race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, medical history, health data, biometric or genetic data, criminal history, sexual orientation, precise geolocation, or government identification numbers.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted without a right to limit. Please do not submit sensitive information to us in free-text fields such as support messages.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies. They fall into four categories:

Managing Cookies
- Email us — write to support@surreal-elysium.com and we will remove you from our advertising audiences and stop targeting you.
- Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site.
Browser Signals & Do Not Track
We do not currently operate an automated cookie banner or consent tool, so we cannot detect browser-level signals such as Global Privacy Control or "Do Not Track" automatically.
We honour opt-out requests sent to us directly. Email support@surreal-elysium.com and we will remove you from our advertising audiences. You can also use the browser and platform controls listed in Section VII, which take effect immediately and do not depend on us.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following specific purposes.

We will not use your personal information for a materially different purpose without first providing notice and, where required, obtaining your consent.

We require service providers to process personal information only on our instructions and to protect it appropriately. We do not authorise them to use it for their own independent marketing.
Advertising, Analytics & "Sale" or "Sharing"
We run advertising pixels on this site. Under California and several other state privacy laws, that activity is legally treated as "selling" and "sharing" personal information — even though no money changes hands for your data. We are telling you this plainly rather than claiming otherwise.
These technologies allow the platforms named above to receive identifiers, device and browsing information, and details about products you view or purchase. They use that information to show you our advertising elsewhere, to measure whether our ads worked, and to build audiences of people similar to our customers. This is what the laws call cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising.

We do not sell or share sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 years of age.
How to Opt Out
- Email us — support@surreal-elysium.com, subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." We will remove you from our advertising audiences and confirm when it is done.
- Block cookies in your browser — every major browser lets you block third-party cookies and clear existing ones
- Google Analytics — install Google's opt-out browser add-on
- Platform ad settings — adjust your advertising preferences directly with Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snap
- Industry tools — the DAA WebChoices and NAI opt-out pages
Opting out does not stop you from seeing advertising. It stops the advertising from being targeted to you based on your activity here.
Marketing Communications
We send marketing email only to people who have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honour unsubscribe requests promptly. You will continue to receive transactional messages about orders you have placed — those are not marketing and cannot be unsubscribed from while an order is active.
Text Messages
If you opt in to SMS, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing text messages at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to cancel, or HELP for assistance.
Push and Social
You can disable browser or app notifications in your device settings, and control what you see from us on social platforms through those platforms' own tools.
Your Privacy Rights — United States
Rights We Extend to Everyone
Wherever you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop sending you marketing. We will do our best to honour these requests even where no law compels us to.
California
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to:
- Know — what personal information we collect, the sources, the business purposes, the categories of third parties we disclose it to, and the specific pieces we hold
- Delete — request deletion, subject to statutory exceptions
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of sale and sharing — see Section VII
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect or use sensitive personal information in a way that triggers this right
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a lesser quality of service because you exercised a privacy right
- Authorised agent — designate someone to make a request on your behalf, with proof of authorisation
The categories of personal information we have collected, disclosed for a business purpose, and sold or shared in the preceding twelve months are set out in Section III, Section VI, and Section VII. Our retention approach is described in Section XII.
Other US States
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws in force — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island — generally have the right to confirm whether we process their data, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling.
Several of these states also give you the right to appeal if we decline your request. If we refuse, our response will explain why and tell you how to appeal. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
Nevada
Nevada residents may direct us not to sell certain covered information as defined under Nevada law. Email us to submit such a request.
How to Exercise Your Rights
- Email support@surreal-elysium.com with the subject line "Privacy Request," and tell us which right you want to exercise and which state or country you are in.
- We will verify your identity before acting. Verification usually means confirming details already associated with your account or a recent order. For deletion and specific-information requests we may ask for additional confirmation. We will not use verification information for any other purpose.
- We will respond within 45 days for US state requests.
- There is no charge for a request unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we will tell you before proceeding.
Opt-out requests for sale, sharing, and targeted advertising do not require identity verification. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission, and we may still ask you to confirm it directly.
Where Your Information Is Processed
We are based in the United States. Your personal information is stored and processed there, and by our service providers in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires. Our general approach:

When we receive a verified deletion request, we will delete the relevant information within 30 days and instruct our service providers to do the same, except where retention is required for tax, legal, fraud-prevention, or security purposes. Where full deletion is not possible, we will de-identify or securely isolate the data instead.
Data Security
We take commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. These include encryption of data in transit, access controls limiting who can view customer data, use of reputable processors that maintain their own security programmes, and contractual requirements on those processors. Card details are handled by PCI-compliant payment processors and are never stored on our systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it, within the timeframes the law sets.
You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
Automated Decision-Making
We use automated processing for product recommendations, advertising audience selection, and fraud screening at checkout. These processes do not produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.
If you are in a jurisdiction that grants a right to opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, you may contact us to exercise it.
Children's Privacy
Our store is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Third-Party Links & Social Features
Our site links to third-party websites and embeds social media features. Those parties may collect information about you independently of us, and their practices are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or conduct. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
User-Generated Content
If you post a review, submit a photograph, or tag us on social media and grant us permission to repost, that content — including any name or handle attached to it — may be displayed publicly on our site and channels. Do not submit anything you would not want published. You may ask us to remove content you submitted by emailing us, though copies may persist in caches and on third-party platforms outside our control.
Visitors From Other Countries
We do not currently ship outside the United States, and we do not direct our store or our advertising to customers in other countries. Our site may nonetheless be reachable from elsewhere.
If you are visiting from outside the United States, you may still ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop marketing to you, using the process in Section X. We will honour those requests. Please be aware that your information will be handled in the United States, under United States law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices, our tools, or the law change. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide more prominent notice — by email or a banner on the site — before they take effect. Please review this page periodically.
